Alice Tomassini is an independent director and author, recently awarded by Forbes magazine as one of the 30 most influential young people in the communication sector in Europe.
Among the main works written and directed by Alice Tomassini the Science-telling format (60-second documentaries that tell the human side of research in Italy), the documentary "Login: The day when Italy discovered the internet" distributed in 2016 by Rai Cultura, downloaded online over 500,000 times, and screened simultaneously in
9,000 Italian high schools and in all the Institutes of Italian Culture worldwide during the 2016 internet day.
In 2019 Alice Tomassini wrote and directed the documentary "Churchbook # when faith becomes social" produced by Vatican Media and Officina della Comunicazione and presented during the XIV edition of the Rome Film Festival. The documentary tells the most important moments of the Holy See's radical communication change on social networks thanks to an unprecedented access: a behind the scenes of the Pope's social editorial staff.
